The most ambitious expat survey ever has just been launched – and it wants to hear from 10,000 people just like you! It is aiming to be the most informed survey of expatriates ever, all in the name of helping would-be expats to move abroad.
The Expat Survey has been launched by i-World Research and it’s being promoted by almost 100 publishers and companies that service and support expats around the world.
It isn’t sponsored by these companies: what’s more, it’s not controlled by any government or bank, and according to a press released published to promote the survey, it’s organisers don’t intend to share any information given by respondents with any third party companies.
Instead the findings will be used to educate, inform and assist anyone who wants to move abroad in the future, and it is widely hoped that the survey will reach so many expats that the results will be more telling and more accurate than any other survey before.
There are three parts to the survey covering migration & lifestyle, retail & finance and travel & health. The sections are being launched on different dates: –
- Migration & Lifestyle – launch 15th July 2013
- Retail & Finance – launch 10th September 2013
- Travel & Health – launch 5th November 2013
The closing date for entries in all categories will be the 31st of December 2013.
There is a large incentive for anyone to get involved: namely money! If you commit to giving your opinion in each of the three survey sections you will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win £1,000. If you win you can either choose to take the money and run – or donate the sum to a UK charity of your choice.
And if you need more incentive than that, how about the fact that your voice will combine with 10,000 plus of your fellow expats’, and perhaps colour and inform the decisions and experiences of other would-be expats in the future.
Just think how much smoother your transition abroad could have been if you’d had the benefit of the findings of such a far-reaching survey! So go on, reach out, give your feedback, help others and be in with a chance to win £1,000 cash!
